The story
The Jago Museum is the space dedicated to Jago — Jacopo Cardillo, a sculptor born in 1987 — inaugurated in 2023 in the church of Sant'Aspreno ai Crociferi, in the heart of Naples. Jago is among the best-known contemporary Italian artists: his most famous sculpture, the Veiled Son (Figlio Velato), ideally converses with the Veiled Christ of the Cappella Sansevero.

Jago's marble sculptures arranged in the Baroque church, including the Veiled Son, a child wrapped in the veil that takes up the great Neapolitan tradition, and works such as Habemus Hominem. A meeting between contemporary sculpture and sacred space.

The museum is visited with its own entrance and hours: check days, hours and ticket on the official site. It is much visited, better to avoid the rush hours.
