The story
The Museum of Coral and Cameo of Torre del Greco tells of the art that made the town famous in the world: for over two centuries Torre del Greco has been the world capital of coral and cameo working. The museum is housed in the 'Francesco Degni' Higher Institute, the former Art Institute that for two hundred years has trained the master engravers, in the cloister of a sixteenth-century Carmelite convent.
