The story
The House of Graziella Museum, at Terra Murata, reconstructs a typical nineteenth-century Procidan house and is dedicated to Graziella, the young protagonist of the novel by Alphonse de Lamartine. The French writer, arrived at Procida in 1812, was fascinated by it: Graziella, daughter of fishermen, has become a symbol of the island. The museum is in the Palace of Culture, the ancient Conservatorio delle Orfane.

The reconstructed spaces of a mid-nineteenth-century Procidan house, with furniture, traditional clothes, tools and period objects: a plunge into the simple life of the island of two centuries ago, and into the literary myth of Graziella. From the palace, the view over the village and the sea.
