The story
The Gallerie d'Italia of Naples are the museum of Intesa Sanpaolo, since 2022 in the new and larger seat of the Palazzo del Banco di Napoli, on via Toledo (previously they were at Palazzo Zevallos Stigliano, a short distance away). They hold one of the absolute masterpieces of the city: the Martyrdom of Saint Ursula by Caravaggio, painted in Naples in 1610, the master's last work.
