The story
Il Museo Archeologico Provinciale dell'Agro Nocerino, a Nocera Inferiore, fu inaugurato nel 1964 per accogliere la collezione Pisani — reperti dalle tombe protostoriche di San Marzano sul Sarno — e i materiali delle necropoli dell'agro, presso l'antica Nuceria Alfaterna. Ha sede in un'ala del trecentesco convento di Sant'Antonio.
