The story
The Provincial Archaeological Museum of the Agro Nocerino, at Nocera Inferiore, was inaugurated in 1964 to receive the Pisani collection — finds from the protohistoric tombs of San Marzano sul Sarno — and the materials of the necropolises of the district, near ancient Nuceria Alfaterna. It is housed in a wing of the fourteenth-century convent of Sant'Antonio.
